Dog Translator Work?
 The
Bowlingual dog translator is a portable tool that allows dogs and their
owners to communicate. Here's how it works:
- Your dog’s
bark is heard by a small wireless microphone that is attached to your
dog’s collar.
- Your dog's bark
is transmitted to the main device using Sound Forwarding.
- Your dog's bark
is analyzed.
- The dog “voice
translation” is displayed on the screen.
Japan Acoustic Laboratory’s
“Animal Emotion Analysis System,” which was developed using
a database of voiceprints and voice analysis technology. Voice analysis
is based on the work of animal behavior specialist, Dr. Norio Kogure (Ph.D.
in veterinary medicine; director of Japan's Kogure Animal Hospital).
The Bowlingual dog
translator divides sounds into six categories:
- happy
- sad
- frustrated
- angry
- assertion
- desire
Dog-owners use this
information to understand their dog’s feelings when his bark would
have left them confused. The Bowlingual dog translator can even be set
to record the dog’s emotions when their owner is away. So you'll
know how Fido was doing while they were out.
