How to Watch the Puppy Bowl 2024 on Animal Planet

If you think the best parts of the Super Bowl are the game day snacks and Puppy Bowl, gear up because the 20th annual dog competition will be the biggest (and cutest) yet!

Calling all canine connoisseurs! Join us in the excitement for the Puppy Bowl XX on Animal Planet as Team Ruff and Team Fluff engage in an adorable battle, all while keeping an eager eye on the race for the renowned “Lombarky” trophy! 😂

Watching adorable puppies run around “playing” football for hours might be even more fun than all those hilarious Super Bowl commercials. But the best part about the Puppy Bowl is that it’s for a good cause. This year’s Puppy Bowl will be the biggest yet: there will be 131 puppies playing, and all of them will be available for adoption. According to the official Puppy Bowl website, the puppies come from “73 shelters and rescues across 36 states and territories – including the all-time smallest pup, Sweetpea, at 1.7 lbs and the biggest, Levi the Great Dane at 70 lbs.”

In honor of its twentieth anniversary, the Puppy Bowl XX is bringing back four dogs from previous events, and welcoming them into the brand-new Puppy Bowl Hall of Fame. And as if the game couldn’t get any more heartwarming, six unique puppy players with special needs will make their debut, including Riddle, a pug terrier coping with cerebellar hypoplasia, and Mr. Bean, a papillon mix showcasing resilience with only his two hind legs.

You can catch all of your favorite parts of the Puppy Bowl on Sunday, February 11 before the Super Bowl LVIII kicks off later that night. That includes funny slow motion replays, the water bowl cam, and the Kitty Half-Time Show!
